Innovest at AMDETUR 2026: Opening New Pathways
In September 2026, more than 350 leaders of the vacation ownership industry gathered in Mexico City for the annual Congress of AMDETUR — the Asociación Mexicana de Desarrolladores Turísticos — representing associations, developers, and service providers from across the sector. Innovest was there.
The theme of this year’s Congress was “Opening New Pathways” — a fitting one for an industry actively redrawing how it earns the confidence of travelers and owners.
The conversations that mattered
Across two days, the agenda kept returning to the forces reshaping the business: AI and digital transformation, investment, demand generation, product innovation, and customer experience. Different sessions, one underlying question — how does the industry create more durable value for the people who choose it?
For Innovest, that question is familiar. It’s the reason the program is built on a registered legal structure rather than a promise. [Add here: one or two sentences on Innovest’s specific participation — a session, a conversation, or the main takeaway your team brought back.]
Why an industry event belongs on our blog
Events like AMDETUR aren’t just networking. They’re where the standards of the industry get set — the shared commitment to transparency, compliance, and long-term confidence that separates serious operators from the rest. Innovest’s certifications with AMDETUR, ARDA, ACOTUR, and its BBB A+ accreditation, are part of that same commitment.
“Opening New Pathways” isn’t only a conference theme. It’s how the whole category moves forward: by being willing to try, to reflect on what has worked, and to build better structures for the people who keep choosing Mexico as one of the world’s favorite places to vacation.
